LOTS of Pictures, Great Week - May 21, 2012

Hola Family and Friends!!

Sorry so long I haven't written. All is well here and I am doing great. Hermana Lino and I are great buddies and working a ton here in Barrio Pringles in San Luis. We have a new family we are working with that are AMAZING. Familia Flores. Dad Raul, daughter Maira (17) and Micaela (13). Their brother got shot in a drive by a few years ago and love the hope of the gospel. They have tons of potential and are blowing through all the chapters of the Book of Mormon!

So here are a millions pictures from the last 2-3weeks. I hope the titles explain. We went to a sweet cemetery during the siesta last week. Reminded me lots of the DaVinvi code. We had a sweet family home evening with Candida, Yenifer and Carolina and some members about the holy ghost. We played ¨hot and cold¨- Thanks to my family memories of that game. Then we spent the pday with Gisel, one of our investigators. We cooked empanadas and then ate them on our roof like a picnic. Then, today we had a zone scavenger hunt all around centro. We had a list of things and had to all be in the picture. WE won!! :) In my group was Hna Dipuy (from La Plata, Buenos Aires), Elder Sierra (from Bogota, Colombia) and Elder Norblad (from LA, California). Super fun day!!

The work will go on!! Three months left to participate in the salvation of the great people of Argentina. The church is true. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God. Read them!! Love you all!

New Comp!!! - April 30, 2012

Well, my companion is the BBOOMMBB!!! She is soo sweet I am sooo lucky. She is from here Argentina, the provincia Salta. She is a convert of 3 years and the only member in her family. It makes me remember much of Hna Zepeda. We are going to have a rockin 2 transfers.

I went up a night early to Mendoza. We arranged a Hermana´s slumber party (all the Hermanas close in Mendoza which are a lot) with some special calls of the leaders who we sweet talked. Mom, does that surprise you? Probably not. But it was SOOOO nice to see Hna Dana and Anderson and get to know all the new Hnas that had come in that I hadn´t met. The training meeting was normal but great as always. Cool thing, we have a Chinese elder that came in. He went to Buenos Aires with his family to work at a supermarket and met the Elders and got baptized. He barely knows spanish and only knows mandarin so his comp (Elder Boyd, who is my district leader who was in the MTC with me, tall one) is having a sweet time with that haha. Elder Yao is amazing though. Never met a kid with a story like this. His family has disowned him but he is here and I think he could be a future general authority!!

Well, Gisel didnt get baptized this week. We are trying to get her Dad back on board in activity and so he can do it. We might wait a week and if he doesnt, we wont wait more. Miracles happen left and right!!
